DIM: Diploma in International Management
and Made in Italy

The DIM is an intensive short dynamic Program designed to help participants, from different backgrounds to familiarize with the international management’s main knowledge and issues.
Besides its main focus the program also fosters the discovery of the Made in Italy lifestyle and business environment.

The course will blend academic lectures, interactive teaching, executive speeches, learning trips.

The ideal participant is a university undergraduate or recently graduated student, aiming at working in international business and willing to explore Italy, its art of living and its business environment.
The Diploma has been developed specifically for the international students, acknowledging the growing number of employees whose career path takes them across both geographic and cultural boundaries.

The Diploma also gives visible evidence to recruiters of global companies that participants have successfully integrated classroom learning with field experience, thereby increasing their value as a potential employee or associate.

Additionally, within the campus there are various meeting rooms, a cafeteria and a bar, plus some sport facilities, such as an open-air swimming pool, a tennis/football court and a well equipped gymnasium, in order to let you combine learning and relaxing in one location.

The 2 weeks programme, held in English, is designed to build an understanding of some of the most essential concepts in International Business Management while discovering the Made in Italy system: lifestyle, products, culture.

Every two days module doesn’t require a specific business knowledge background from the participants but is intensive, dynamic and focused.

The teaching method is grounded on sound theory and on a strong focus on experimentation and application.

The Faculty will be a blend of academic professors, international consultants and corporate executives.

Lessons will take place in Volterra from Monday to Friday.

On the week-ends participants will be able to organize their own trips to discover Tuscany and Italy, leveraging the SIAF support in terms of suggestions and trip advise.
